In the fall of 2006, I took on the role of co-founder at Victory Archery. After dedicating more than six years to producing carbon arrows for other OEM manufacturers, I recognized an opportunity to introduce high-quality precision carbon arrows directly to the archery industry. Our initial target market focus was on the competitive target segment, inspiring us to devise innovative designs to rival industry giant Easton.
Throughout the years, Victory Archery emerged as the lead innovator in ultra-small diameter arrows. We successfully developed an arrow system tailored for small diameter arrows, greatly enhancing their effectiveness for hunters. This groundbreaking advancement catapulted Victory to become the second-largest arrow brand in the industry. I take great pride in the achievements of Victory Archery and its journey to success.
In 2008, I became a co-owner at Spinergy by merging the remaining business from HST into the company. As a director, I took the lead in introducing a revolutionary product for the wheelchair industry. Over the years, my involvement extended to the development of several new carbon fiber products, including a lightweight carbon fiber wheelchair wheel.
In recent years, I actively participated in the redesign of Spinergy's bicycle wheel line. Today, Spinergy holds the distinction of being the top high-performance wheelchair wheel brand globally. Additionally, it stands out as one of the most renowned bicycle wheel brands in the world.
In 1994, I joined a startup golf shaft company based in San Diego, California. Rapidly ascending, we became the second-largest golf shaft manufacturer in the industry and initiated an ambitious diversification strategy in 1996.
Our success story involved venturing into diverse markets, including kayak, archery, team sports, automotive, and aerospace. This expansion led us to spin off certain business units into independent entities. Over a decade, HST achieved remarkable milestones, producing over 85 million golf shafts and an additional 20 million composite tubular products.
Notably, HST contributed to the automotive sector by manufacturing over 400 Shelby CSX 4000 Continuation cars for Shelby Automotive, showcasing the company's versatility and impact across various industries.
